Model: Tudor Oyster Perpetual Submariner
Case Serial: B666482
Case Reference: 75090
This particular Tudor is a Submariner model with a date at the 3 o’clock position. It is not quite a full size men's, nor is it as small as a ladies; it is between the two, making it the very popular 3/4 size,. The hands are the traditional Mercedes, or ‘lollipop’ style, radium filled, and in excellent condition. The dial is black with radium filled markers, and the bezel is also black with white print. The crystal is manufactured in synthetic sapphire, without blemishes or chips. The crown is the standard Rolex style thread down, also with the traditional Submariner crown guard and Rolex crown stamped onto the edge. Everything on this mid-size Tudor Oyster Perpetual Submariner watch is genuine and in wonderful condition.
Tudor is a watch in which the case and band were designed and produced by Rolex Watch U.S.A, however the movement is manufactured by another movement house. Ebauche movement houses are a group of Swiss manufacturing facilities that in most cases only produced movements, not a completed watch. Tudor most frequently used E.T.A. Ebausche movements; this particular one contained 25 jewels with E.T.A. calibre number 2824-2. This movement is of high grade, typical of Rolex, and is automatically wound. The case serial number is B666482 and the case reference number is 75090.
Since the Tudor was designed by Rolex, the look is very similar. In fact, the band is a Rolex style Oyster, commonly referred to as a ‘rolled plate’ style; the band also features a flip lock clasp with the Tudor symbol stamped into the buckle, Tudor Watch Co Geneva-Switzerland is also stamped into the fold over, itself.
The Tudor is a great way to get into a Rolex style watch; in look, quality, and durability, at a fraction of Rolex price. I would trust this watch to take diving and pretty much any activity that a Rolex could handle. It is rated to 660 feet and is also shock proof. A great watch at a reasonable price.
